This policy explains what personal data Creator Economy Group collects through this website, why we collect it, who it is shared with and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

01Who we are

Creator Economy Group (“CEG”, “we”, “us”) is a trading name of Liam Parkinson Ventures Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14711018), registered office 86–90 Paul Street, London, England, EC2A 4NE.

We are the data controller for personal data submitted through this site. You can reach us at contact@creatoreconomygroup.co.uk.

02What we collect

We only collect what you type into one of our two forms. We do not buy data and we do not track you around the internet.

If you submit a brand brief (on our brands page), we collect:

If you introduce yourself as a creator (on our creators page), we collect:

To understand how the site is used, we count page views and form submissions with Google Analytics. It sets cookies (see section 05) and shares usage data such as your IP address and pages visited with Google. We look at it in aggregate only. Beyond that: no advertising trackers, no profiling and no automated decisions about you.

03Why we use it and our lawful basis

We use your details for exactly one thing: to read your enquiry and reply to it and to have the follow-up conversation that comes out of it.

Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)), namely responding to someone who has deliberately contacted a business in order to be contacted back. Where an enquiry leads to a working relationship, we rely on performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).

We will not add you to a marketing list and we will not send you anything unrelated to your enquiry.

04Who we share it with

Your data is handled by a small number of processors that keep the site running:

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with brands, creators or anyone else without asking you first.

05Storage in your own browser

// what lives in your browser.
This site stores two things locally in your browser and never sends them anywhere:
  · your light/dark theme preference
  · a copy of a form you submitted, as a backup in case the network fails
Both live in localStorage on your own device.

Google Analytics sets its own cookies (_ga and _ga_*, lasting up to 13 months) to tell returning visitors from new ones. If you’d rather not be counted, blocking cookies for this site in your browser or using Google’s opt-out add-on does exactly that — the site works identically either way.

06How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as the conversation is live and for up to 24 months afterwards so we can pick a thread back up. If an enquiry becomes a client or talent relationship, we keep records for as long as the relationship lasts and then for six years to meet UK tax and accounting obligations.

Enquiries that go nowhere are deleted.

07Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

Email contact@creatoreconomygroup.co.uk and we will action it within one month. You will not need to explain yourself and we will not make it difficult.

If you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office , though we would rather you told us first so we can fix it.

08Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant and affects people who have already contacted us, we will tell them directly.
